MySNHU: How to login and register in 2022
Welcome to MySNHU! We are so glad you are interested in our online learning and continuing education program. With over 400 online programs and thousands of classes and certifications, we want to make sure you find the right option for your career goals. Please take some time to review the information below as it will provide step-by-step instructions on how to register and then log in after registration has been completed.
Why?
Starting a new school year is a time for new beginnings, but the registration process can seem daunting. If you’ve never been through the process before, it can be confusing at first, but we’re here to help!
If you’re a student or alumnus, this blog post will help walk you through the process. If you’re an employer, this post will give you some insight into what your employees may be experiencing when they log in. And if you are a counselor or faculty member, this post provides resources for supporting students as they navigate registration.
The user experience will be entirely online
Registering for MySNHU will be easy. You’ll just have to log into the system with your username and password. As long as you have a valid email address, you’ll be able to set up an account with your preferred username. Once logged in, there will be a button that says Create Account on the right-hand side of the screen. Click on it and follow the instructions carefully.
Once you’re registered, you’ll be able to sign into your account by entering your username and password. If you want to change your password later on, just click on Account Settings at the top of MySNHU. On that page, you’ll see a button labeled Change Password. Once clicked, a pop-up window will appear where you can enter a new password. After doing so, click on Save Changes. You’ll be asked to confirm it before your password is updated for security reasons.
Registering through your school email
To simplify the process, MySNHU will do away with the traditional email/password registration system. In its place, students will need only their SNHU username and password-both of which are used for university services such as WebAdvisor. To get started, they would visit snhu.edu, click on Student Login, enter their username and password, and be redirected to a page that looks like this.
The new process will not only allow you to log into MySNHU and all of its services with one account, but it will also help protect your information. Because your SNHU username is tied to your school email address-which comes from SNHU-it means that other students won’t have access or be able to use your password if they should happen upon it.
Your username is linked with a special hash algorithm that is designed for security as well, so even if an attacker was able to capture passwords, he or she wouldn’t be able to decrypt them. For added protection, we recommend changing your SNHU password regularly and picking a unique password for MySNHU specifically.

Password Security Tips
A good password should be difficult for others to guess and easy for you to remember. A password is only as strong as the least secure of the devices it’s used on, so never use the same password on multiple devices. Choose a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols (for example, P@$$w0rd!).
If your passwords are hard to remember, consider using a password manager like 1Password. Finally, change your passwords often. It will help prevent others from stealing them or using them against you if they access your account without permission.
Adding Emergency Contacts
In 2020, SNHU made it mandatory for all students to add emergency contacts. This was a requirement before you could log into your MySNHU account or be able to register for classes. If a student is unable to identify someone as an emergency contact, they would need the assistance of the Counseling Center’s support services.
1) To add an Emergency Contact, go to MySNHU and click Emergency Contacts.
2) You will be prompted with a message that says If you have difficulty identifying your emergency contact, please contact the Counseling Center’s support services.
3) If you agree with this statement then click I agree at the bottom of the page and fill out your information as instructed onscreen.
Profile Information
Your name is John Smith, you’re 18 years old, and you just graduated high school. Your lifelong dream is to be a doctor, but you don’t know how or where to start. You log into MySNHU in order to explore your options for entering the healthcare field.
MySNHU is an online hub for future students of SNHU that contains informational videos, articles, job postings from major companies, scholarship opportunities from private organizations, as well as other helpful features. In order to access these features, you need two things: a username and a password.
Payment Options
Students will be able to create a profile with a username and password. Once they have done this, they can log into their account on the website by entering their credentials. They will then see the home page where they will have access to all of the information related to their studies. When students want to register for courses, they can click on the Register Now button on the homepage. From there, they are given the choice of selecting the Fall Semester or Spring Semester from a drop-down menu.
Favorite Courses
My favorite courses are either sociology or business. I’ve been really interested in how people behave, how they make decisions, and why they do the things they do. I find it interesting to see how the same person can act differently depending on the situation. Business is my second favorite course because it has a lot of useful information that will help me manage my own future company one day.
